Fabulous manor house

We had a special family birthday here. The pictures don’t do the house complete justice. It’s the most beautiful house in fabulous surroundings. It even has a function room that Vera set up for us which was perfect. Lots of space in the house for everyone and a lovely setting outside for a wander to see the animals. It all made for a very special weekend and we will definitely be back. Thank you very much Vera

GREAT HOUSE

Stayed here in July with my whole family. Plenty of room for everyone. Really beautiful location. House had everything we needed. The owner Vera was great letting the kids feed all the animals and Noel was on had if you needed anything.. Nothing was to much trouble. 5 stars are not enough for it . Great house great people, great location Loved it.

Fabulous House in Beautiful Location for Family Holiday

We have just returned from a wonderful stay in Lavender House. We were a big family group of 14 and all ages enjoyed the house. The accommodation was spotless and the gardens were beautiful. There was nothing at all we could complain about. The donkeys were a big hit with the children, as were the table tennis and pool tables and the playroom. The big kitchen and dining room easily accommodated all of us. We have come home with lovely memories or our trip! Thank you Vera & Noel.

Staycation

Well we were supposed to be in Portugal but by the time our week was over the kids said they wanted to come back to lavender house every year.
We were a party of 11 four adults and seven kids. The house offered plenty of space and was well equipped with everything you would need for a great family holiday.
It is in a great location for sightseeing we went up cuilcagh mountain one day and bundoran beach another. It was only a short drive to castle archdale for mountain biking and watersports and a wee stop off for ticketymoo ice cream.
I have to say we had a fantastic holiday which was really down to the fantastic accommodation. We received a warm welcome and great instructions on how everything worked. Everything was clean and well maintained. The gardens were beautiful and we enjoyed a super game of rounders in the big garden on a lovely evening.
The only problem was having to leave to come home thanks Vera for a great holiday oh and your present has settled in well too his new home.

Absolutely perfect

We stayed at Lavender Manor for a big family birthday celebration last weekend. The house was magnificent, spacious, spotless, homely, welcoming and warming. Lots of room to spread out and relax yet some fabulous large rooms to all come together. Lots of little details around the house showed a loving home.

We brought ingredients for a big meal and found the kitchen very well equipped and a pleasure to cook in. There is even an Aga for that real country kitchen.

The gardens were beautiful to walk around and we’ll have to come again in the summer to take advantage of this outdoor space. The children loved meeting the alpacas and we even saw a new born cria!

Superb countryside holiday home

We can’t rate Lavender House highly enough. Large, comfortable, beautifully kept and spotlessly clean holiday home. Really suited to a large group or family gathering just outside the nearby towns of Ballnamallard and Irvinestown.
Due to the size of our party (25 adults 9 children/teenager) we rented both the house,manor and courtyard cottage.
The large bedrooms, many en-suite were beautifully decorated, warm and cosy. Spacious well equipped kitchens and dining areas and huge warm and comfortable living rooms where we all gathered in the evening.
We had arranged outside catering for the Saturday night of our stay. The owner, Vera, had the cottage beautifully decorated and dining tables laid out with all the tableware necessary for all the guests.
The gardens outside were also beautifully kept with many items of garden furniture dotted around the grounds. The rear of the manor house had a garden path which led down to the area where the Alpaca’s and chickens lived. Kids loved this area (and some of the bigger kids !)
Many thanks to the owner, Vera,and Noel who made our celebration an enjoyable success. Noel was at hand for any querys regarding the house and surrounding area and took the time to arrange for the kids to feed the alpacas and pet the chicks.
All in all a great experience !!

Another fabulous stay

This is the third time four families have come together for a long weekend at Lavender House – we had a ball! We arrived to the stove lit and a very warm welcome! Beautiful home with comfortable rooms and plenty of living space to relax and play (the pool room and secret play room are favourites!) We love that we can all sit down round the table to enjoy eating together! Thanks Vera, can’t wait to be back!

Excellent Weekend Break

We stayed in lavender house and one of theWe booked this holiday for us, four of our children and their partners and five grandchildren. The min house was not quite big enough for all of us so some of the family stayed in a separate small cottage.
Both properties were fitted to the highest possible standard of comfort and equipment. The garden is absolutely stunning.
Both the owner and her helper were very friendly and accommodating. They brought us fresh eggs from their own chickens
The younger members of the family were delighted with the games room and many pool tournaments were played. There ere 2 siting rooms with televisions so no arguments about viewing.
An added bonus for an animal loving family were the 3 donkeys,3alpacas 4 sheep and a Shetland pony in a field next to the house which we helped feed. Two dogs from the main house frequently escaped and came to see us. We couldn’t have found a better home from home and by the time we left we felt like part of the family.
This was a great base for exploring this lake area, taking boat trips and visiting historic sites. cottages (approx 20 people mix adults and kids) and we absolutely loved the house and surrounding area. The house was pristine we couldn’t have asked for anymore. The kid’s had a great time exploring and playing in and around the house. We would highly recommend lavender house. Thank you for a great weekend
